  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined 450g
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp chopped parsley optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Place the shrimp in a greased baking dish. Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the shrimp.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve hot with crusty bread or rice.

Notes

You can use pre-cooked shrimp to save time; just reduce the cooking time by 5 minutes.
