Ingredients
Method
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Add Pudding Mix: Gradually mix in the banana pudding powder until fully incorporated.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in Extras: Stir in white chocolate chips and crushed vanilla wafers, if desired.
- Shape Cookies: Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Ripe Bananas: If you'd like to enhance the banana flavor, add a mashed ripe banana to the dough.
Chilling the Dough: Chill the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
Storage: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
