Ingredients
  

For the dough:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the filling:
  • 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
For the soup:
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder

Method
 

Prepare the Soup Jelly:
  1. Heat vegetable broth and agar-agar powder in a pot until it boils. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and refrigerate until firm. Once set, dice the jelly into small cubes.
Make the Dough:
  1. In a bowl, mix flour, water, and salt until a dough forms. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.
Prepare the Filling:
  1. In a skillet, sauté mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, and ginger with sesame oil until softened. Mix in soy sauce and let cool. Combine with soup jelly cubes.
Assemble the Dumplings:
  1. Divide dough into small portions and roll into thin circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center, then pleat and seal the edges to form dumplings.
Cook the Dumplings:
  1. Steam the dumplings over medium-high heat for 12–15 minutes.
Serve:
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes
