Ingredients

500 g sirloin steak (cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method

  1. Prepare the Steak: Pat dry the steak cubes with a paper towel and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat the Pan: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Sear the Steak Bites: Add the steak pieces in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side until browned. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  4. Add Butter & Garlic: Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and toss the steak bites for 1–2 minutes to coat in the garlic butter.
  5. Rest & Serve: Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm

Notes

  • Use ribeye, filet mignon, or strip steak for extra tenderness.
  • Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce for more depth of flavor.
  • Serve with garlic aioli, chimichurri, or melted blue cheese sauce
