Method
- Preheat the Oven: Set to 175°C (350°F).
- Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook the Beef: Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Prepare the Rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
Assemble the Sliders:
- Spread the cooked beef evenly over the rolls.
- Layer with cheddar cheese slices.
- Add caramelized onions and pickles (if using).
- Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
- Make the Buttery Topping: Mix melted butter with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Brush over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
- Rest & Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into individual sliders.
Notes
- Substitute cheddar cheese with Swiss or pepper jack for a flavor twist.
- For a crispy finish, broil for 1–2 minutes after baking.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
