  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions optional
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder for topping

Method

  2. Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.

  4. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  5. Make the Buttery Topping: Mix melted butter with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Brush over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  6. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
  7. Rest & Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into individual sliders.

Notes

  • Substitute cheddar cheese with Swiss or pepper jack for a flavor twist.
  • For a crispy finish, broil for 1–2 minutes after baking.
