Ingredients

300 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 200 g smoked sausage, sliced
  • 250 g broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Method

  1. Prepare Ingredients – Clean the shrimp, slice the sausage, and chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. Cook the Sausage – In a large pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sausage slices and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Shrimp – In the same pan, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add shrimp, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook the Broccoli – Add broccoli to the pan and sauté for 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce – In a small bowl, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Pour into the pan with broccoli.
  6. Combine Everything – Return the sausage and shrimp to the pan, mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Thicken the Sauce – Stir in the cornstarch slurry, mix well, and let the sauce thicken for about a minute.
  8. Serve & Enjoy – Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • You can substitute smoked sausage with turkey sausage for a leaner option.
  • For extra crunch, add bell peppers or snap peas.
  • Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste for a sweeter or saltier balance.
