Method
Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and coat with cornstarch. Let rest for 10 minutes.
Cook the Chicken:
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the wings until golden and crispy (about 8-10 minutes per side).
- Alternatively, bake at 200°C for 25 minutes, flipping halfway, or air-fry at 180°C for 20 minutes.
Make the Sauce:
- In a saucepan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Coat the Wings:
- Toss the crispy wings in the soy garlic sauce until evenly coated.
Serve:
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double-fry the wings.
- Substitute honey with brown sugar for a richer sweetness.
- Adjust soy sauce quantity for a saltier or milder taste.
