Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ cups cups milk
  • 1 Meduim egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter plus more for greasing the pan
  • 1 As desired chocolate chips, whipped cream, or fruit slices for decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Batter:
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter until combined. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
Heat the Pan:
  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter.
Make the Mickey Shape:
  1. Pour batter onto the skillet to form one large circle for the head and two smaller circles on top for ears. Use a spoon or squeeze bottle for precision.
Cook the Pancakes:
  1. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges are set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip carefully with a spatula and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Decorate and Serve:

Notes

To keep pancakes warm, place them on a baking sheet in an oven set to 200°F.
